Theodore R. Hall, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Biology. He completed his medical education at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Hall completed two residencies in Nuclear Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and in Diagnostic Radiology at the Montefiore Medical Center, both in the Bronx, New York, his hometown. He was the Chief Resident in both residency programs. He subsequently completed fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Hall is board certified in both Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Pediatric Radiology.

He is currently Professor of Clinical Radiology, Vice Chair for Academic Affairs, and the Director for Medical Student Education in Radiology for the UCLA Department of Radiology with responsibilities as Course Chair for the Third Year Longitudinal Radiology Didactic Clerkship and the Advanced Elective in Radiology for fourth year medical students. He is a long-standing member of the Department’s Radiology Credentials and Quality Assurance Committee and an ex officio member of the Committee on Appointments, Merits and Promotions (CAMP). In addition to his appointments in Radiology he is the immediate past Associate Dean for Admissions and Chair of the Admissions Committee for the David Geffen School of Medicine and National Chair for the Graduate Student Association Committee on Admissions for the American Medical Student Association (AAMC). He is the Chair of the UCLA Committee on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and an ex officio member of the Executive Board of the UCLA Academic Senate. Dr. Hall has published over 100 abstracts and papers in peer reviewed journals and has been recognized with teaching awards from the radiology residents and his faculty peers at the David Geffen School of Medicine.
